Care of Inlight Products

All Inlight products are produced by hand in small batches and do not contain any synthetic preservative. Refrigeration is not necessary, but storing away from heat, using the little wooden spatula enclosed for the balms and closing lids fully after use will maximize the products' effectiveness and shelf-life. When stored in this way they will last 4-5 months after opening.

Products should be stored in a room temperature under 75°F. Should they melt if exposed temporarily to higher temperatures, there will be no loss of performance or quality. You are encouraged to put them into the refrigerator for a short period of time (1-2 hours).


 Sales tax

Hug Your Skin LLC is required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped within Florida.


Our packaging (both primary and secondary) is made from recyclable or biodegradable materials. We try to avoid plastic and other non-ecological shipping material. However we had to make one exception - we use insulated box lines and ice cool packs during hot months to avoid eventual melting of some of the products during delivery transportation to your place. When we offer free shipping in our promotions and campaigns, we mean free USPS Ground shipping on US orders only. In order to qualify for free shipping, all promotional or campaign conditions should be met otherwise standard shipping policy applies.

Taxes and duties

Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to import taxes and customs duties. Recipient is responsible for taxes, duties and charges for customs clearance. Hug your Skin has no control over these charges and is not responsible for any reimbursement of custom fees or taxes.

Please note that on packages shipped via USPS, your tracking information will stop once your order leaves the US.

Returns and refunds

100% Refund - unopened product returned within 30 days of the delivery date*

To obtain a 100% refund of the original purchase price of your product, it must be returned to us in an unopened, resalable condition within 30 days of the delivery date. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You can notify us at: Please include your name and order number.

Please ensure the product is packed carefully, as we can only give a refund on products we can resell.

Replacement - damaged product, faulty product, shipment error

If a product you receive is damaged or defective, please contact us within 2 working days so we can address the problem. In the unlikely event that a product is damaged in transit, the product is leaking or faulty, or we sent you the incorrect product, please contact us within 2 days of the delivery date for replacement. If we require the product to be shipped back to us, we will pay the shipping cost. We may require you to send us photographic evidence of the damaged parcel and/or product, faulty product, or shipment error for insurance purposes. Credit or Refund – opened full size product returned within 30 days of the delivery date*

We are confident that you will be pleased with our products. If for any reason you or your skin are unhappy with your product after you have opened it, you may return it to us within 30 days of the delivery date if not used more then 1/3 of the product. Only one opened package of any full size product in a shipment is eligible for return. All others of the same product must be in unopened and original condition to receive a full refund. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you choose the credit option, we will create a voucher that will be emailed to you and which you can use for any future purchase. Validity of such voucher is 1 year. You can notify us at: Please include your name and order number.

If you tend to be allergic to any natural ingredients, we strongly encourage to purchase firstly our trial/travel sizes to test on your skin.

Credit Card Security:

Credit card payments are handled by our eCommerce platform provider, who services over 100,000 eCommerce sites. Payments use state-of-the-art security and are Level 1 PCI compliant. Hug Your Skin does not have access to your credit card information.
